Members of the conure family have a wide variation of color, size, and habitat. They range from Mexico southward through a big part of South America.
Conures are like Macaws miniaturized. The main difference between the two is the size of the bare eye ring; it is a lot smaller in the conures. They are long and slender in shape, with a large head and beak and a long tapering tail.
Conures are very sweet, affectionate pets who have tremendous voices. A lot of our conure breeders are among the most talkative in our aviary. They are always ready at a moment's notice to put on a show and absolutely insist on being the center of attention.
